Bad Luck!

One of my clients got out of prison a few weeks ago and has a few advantages over the other clients I have. He is Oneida so when he was in prison his Oneida annual checks have just been saving up and waiting for him. So he actually have money and also has a car. Unfortunetly this is all the luck he has had so far. He is a sex offender and has been suffering a lot of discrimination around town and hasn't been able to find an apartment yet. He also was supposed to have a job lined up but when he went there they turned him away. So now he is having difficultly finding a job. Worst of all, Sunday night his car was stolen from where he is staying. Apparently this is how it went. Around 11:30pm Sunday night one of the neighbors stopped by to use his phone. He let him in then the guy left. When my client was getting ready for bed a bit later he looked out the window to check on his car and it was gone! The guy must have grabbed the keys off the counter while he was in his room. So client called the police and the eventually found the car across town. They took the guy into questioning but released him because they didn't find him with the car. Client's car was towed to a car shop so that it could be finger printed and such. There appeared to have nothing wrong with it except the keys were missing. So on Tuesday client and I went there to pick it up but it wouldn't start. We jumped it a bunch of times but still wouldn't start. Client then had it towed to a mechanic and he said the engine was fried because the guy had driven it hard. This car is about 20 years old and not worth buying a new engine. He was debating between buying a new car or fixing this one but ended up getting a used engine for $2000. He should have his car back Friday night or Saturday. So its lucky that he actually has money he can spend on this. The guy who stole it ended up being arrested I think because I am pretty sure they found his finger prints on the car.
I asked this client how it felt to be a victim of a crime, he answered that it seriously sucked. Then he said to me "You sure have a way of changing things around and making it a lesson!"
ha ha All criminals should have something happen to them like this so they know how it feels to be a victim.

The recent controversy with sex offenders in the green bay area is really starting to piss me off. They can't live here, there is too many over there, well where the hell are they supposed to go? We cant just ship then off to Antarctica. They are people too you know! And I am sick of these mothers going on the news saying "ohh I can't let me kids outside now because of these sex offenders living down the street" well lady try and be a real mother and actually go outside with them! Most sex offenders are not going to attack your kids like that. Also a majority of sex crimes are committed by people you know. Time to look at your family people. Your child is more likely to be abused by the dad, grandpa, uncle, brother, whoever! Seriously people need to get some real information, even the news, because its just getting annoying.
